About the Founder

It all began with “My testimony of Rock Bottom.” While facing the consequences of years of pain, bad choices, anger and dysfunctional behaviors that included years of generational, situational and systemic traumas which included sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, addiction and mental illness.…..I found myself in a pit of despair and hopelessness.......in prison within multiple prisons. I saw myself as the prodigal daughter and I had wandered way too long. I found myself far away from home, from the heart of the Father and from those I loved the most, my children and my family. At that time, I had no desire to return. I felt unworthy, broken, angry and disgusted in myself and the state of my life. I did not feel anyone was worthy of my life and I felt I had nothing to offer anyone, not my children and definitely not God. In my eyes, my children and the world was better off without me. But God…….Right in that moment, the vision of Helping Hearts Heal into my spirit.  As He ministered Jeremiah 29:11 to me, He reminded me that He had a plan and purpose for my life. That I would live and not die. That my life, every part of it, would be used as a testimony of His unfailing love and His transforming power. The foundation of this ministry is both a declaration and a testimony that no matter what you have faced in your life, whether through your own choices or circumstances beyond your control; God can and will work all things together for your good & for His glory.  Even as I continue to heal, break generational cycles and overcome years of traditional dysfunctions God continues to use this ministry, my testimony and my life experiences to help others experience healing and transformation.  The heart of this organization is to promote healing and transformation for individuals, families and communities. All things are possible, if you believe.......... Wesiona
